Cloud House Virtual Space
Can a community continue to exist and grow without a physical space? This is the question Cloud House was interested in exploring after the NAC (National Arts Council) announced renovation works to 42 Waterloo street in 2020.
Coupled with the measures and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on performing arts in 2019-2022, the circumstances had presented them with challenges to physically meet and make art like before. Taking advantage of interactive media, volumetric capture and mixed reality technology, we created a version of Centre 42 in a digital space to expand the limits of social connectivity, accessibility, interactivity and the making of performance.
Window by ATTEMPTS
WINDOW by Attempts, is a one-player theatrical game experience that invited players on a journey into the mind of Sara and asks that they navigate her web of complex thoughts and feelings with care. Performed live from a studio, the audience-player accessed the performance in a digitally-created arts space, Cloud House using their personal computer and interacted with show technicians and performers to complete the journey.
